Aloha Friends,
Please see the April 2026 Newsletter attached in this link.
In April we honor libraries and reading with National Library Week, April 19-25. First celebrated in 1958, National Library Week was the brainchild of the American Library Association (ALA) and American Book Publishers and designed to encourage reading and support local libraries. In this issue of our April newsletter, read how you can support our public libraries — from knitting hats to purchasing books online or at the monthly F.O.L.K. booksale. Happy reading!
Enjoy special events at our libraries this week:
- Tuesday, March 31, 5-6 pm: Live at the Library: John Keawe at the Kailua Kona Public Library
- Wednesday, April 1, 5-6:30 pm: Author Visit: Caren Loebel-Fried at the Kealakekua Public Library
