Aloha! We are currently looking for three directors who value literacy and access to our public libraries to join the F.O.L.K. Board. In particular, we are looking for:
- Secretary to keep accurate records as well as respond to and initiate correspondence
- Director of Sales to manage monthly, lobby, and online book sale
- Publicity to share information about F.O.L.K. and library events
We look for all our board members to demonstrate interest or experience in any of
the following:
- Willingness to develop a working knowledge of the Kona area libraries.
- Previous leadership roles in non-profit, volunteer or other business environments.
- Willingness to work in a hands-on environment and to take ownership of an
area of responsibility. - Willingness to develop relationships with other non-profit community groups.
- Experience in fundraising for non-profits.
