Our monthly book sale will be held at the Kailua-Kona Library on Friday, August 14 from 11am to 3pm and Saturday, August 15 from 9am to 1pm. Proceeds support library programs and activity supplies.
Our monthly Board meeting will be held Tuesday, August 18 from 4–6pm on the Kailua-Kona Library lanai. All members are welcome.
If you aren’t already a part of Foodland or Sack N Save’s Maika’i rewards program, please consider becoming one. You will then be eligible to participate in their “Give Aloha” non-profit program benefiting Friends of the Libraries, Kona (F.O.L.K.) this September.
We received our first “Kokua in Kind” check for a vehicle donated on our behalf—an easy way to help fund library programs and supplies. To donate a working or non-working vehicle, boat, motorcycle, moped, or jet ski, call Kokua in Kind at 808-834-6603 or email kokuainkind@gmail.com to arrange a pickup. Tell them you would like your donation to benefit F.O.L.K., and they will take care of the rest.
